equinoxx.info: Cheltenham 2021: Day 2

It's day two of Cheltenham. Here's the rundown of my betting from yesterday along with the horses I am looking out for today.

Tuesday's Results

1:20PM Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle

5/6 favourite Appreciate It won the opener. I had £10 on Metier to win, but that bet will be refunded back to me because I gambled with Sky Bet, which had an offer for the first race.

I also had a £2.50 each-way free bet on Ballyadam. It came second bringing back £3.

So - after race one, I had £13 back.

1:55PM Sporting Life Arkle Chase

Shishkin won the Arkle. As you'll see below, I had the winner in a 23p each-way Lucky 15 with other horses that are running this week.

2:30PM Ultima Handicap Chase

I had a free £5 bet on One For The Team to win. Vintage Clouds was the 28/1 winner. I didn't lose anything on this race.

3:05PM Unibet Champion Hurdle

The favourite, Honeysuckle, won the Unibet Champion Hurdle. I had a trio of bets on her. I had £8 to win and I also backed the horse at £1 using a special new customer 33/1 promotion. So, I'll get free bet credits back for that. Honeysuckle is also a winner in a £1 each-way double that will be settled following Thursday's Ryanair Chase (I now need Mister Fisher to do the business).

Honeysuckle wasn't the only horse I backed on this race. I also had £1.50 each-way on Sharjah, which finished in second place.

Following these results, I returned £28.85 from Honeysuckle and £6.30 from the second-placed horse. This does not count the extra winnings I'll get from the 33/1 promo because those returns will be in free bet credits.

3:40PM Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle

Back Tears was the winner. I had losing bets each-way bets in My Sister Sarah and Great White Shark. The latter was leading for a lot of the race.

4:15PM Boodles Juvenile Handicap

There was an 80/1 winner in this race with Jeff Kidder. I obviously didn't have him. My horse was Busselton, which appears in the £1 each-way Lucky 15.

4:50PM National Hunt Novices' Chase

The final race on day one was won by Galvin. I had the horse that placed second - Next Destination. My wager was £4 each-way, so I got £5.80 back. A £2.20 loss.

Wednesday's Bets

1:20PM Ballymore Novices' Hurdle

On yesterday's card, Shishkin was a winning selection in the 23p each-way Lucky 15. Next up is Bravemansgame, who runs in today's opener.

I have also backed Bravemasnsgame on another website. I have a £2.50 each-way on him and also have repeated that wager of £2.50 each-way with a free £5.

Sky Bet is once again doing an offer for the first race of the day where you'll have a refund up to £10 if your horse is a loser. I have put a tenner on the favourite - Bob Olinger.

1:55PM Brown Advisory Novices Chase

This race is going to be all about the favourite - Monkfish, who is very short. I doubt I'll bet on this race.

2:30PM Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle

I had a £1 each-way antepost bet on Black Tears. I gambled with a firm that did not have a Non Runner No Bet promotion, so have lost already because the horse ran - and won! - in the Close Bros. Mares Hurdle yesterday.

As for horses that are in the race: I have a free £5 bet on Sneaky Getaway to win as well as a £2 each-way gamble.

I also have £2 each-way on Thomas Darby.

3:05PM Queen Mother Champion Chase

This is another race with the favourite quite short. I've gone for a £2 each-way punt on Nube Negra at 12/1.

3:40PM Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase

The favourite is Easysland, but I had a £1 each-way gamble on Hogan's Height at 25/1. If you know me - you'll get why I picked the name, brother.

4:15PM Grand Annual Handicap Chase

The horse I have in this race appears in the £1 Each-Way Lucky 15. I need Encoutas to save this bet after Busselton let me down yesterday.

4:50PM Champion Bumper

The third selection, in the 23p each-way Lucky 15 that started off with a win in the Arkle, is running in the final race of today. It is Kilcruit.
