It seems crazy to think that I wrote a post on the day that he was born and now - here I am - writing about him going to, as I used to call it when I was a child, 'big school'.
The current climate we live in means I have a certain amount of anxiety over him going to the new school. With that said - his generation, especially those that are in the same age group, have missed out on so much already due to the lockdown and - even though I feel trepidation - I can understand the need to get the children back to the classrooms.
I'm looking forward to finding out how his day went when I catch up with him later.
