Disney+ Is Up And Running In The UK

Lost in the drama (and I am not downplaying it by calling it that) from being forced to go on lockdown in this country is the fact that - on Monday night - the Disney+ streaming service launched a couple of hours before its official start of Tuesday.

As soon as I knew I could access it, I logged in and checked out the titles on offer.

It has A LOT.

And that's really all I did on Monday night and into the early hours of Tuesday. I just browsed through almost everything they had on offer.

Then, when I woke up in the morning, I made sure to download the Disney+ app to my devices and got around to watching what is the main reason why I wanted to subscribe.

The Mandalorian.

It's the series set in the Star Wars universe about a bounty hunter.

The first two episodes were available on launch and then I surmise the remaining eps will be added weekly.

I finished the first two yesterday afternoon. So far so good. I'm not really sure about the story so far, but the special effects was exceptional. They were like watching a proper Star Wars movie.

The next film - or rather films - on my list will make for an interesting blog post. Keep your eyes peeled.
