Asda workers are on strike today.
They're doing so because their employers have put pressure on the staff members to sign new contracts. Should they not agree to the new deals, they have been threatened with the sack.
This isn't right. I'm glad to see them sticking up for their rights.
Ironically, Asda likes to 'rollback' their prices. The company sure is trying to roll back to a time when employees didn't have rights.
