Kevin Cadle - who was a popular name in British basketball and Sky Sports' coverage of the National Football League over here - was laid to rest on Thursday.
I was sort of behind American football news, so only learned of Kevin's funeral on the day. I therefore was unable to do what many American football fans across the country did to honour the coach/presenter.
Many wore their NFL gear as a sign of respect. I wish I had read about it beforehand, because I would have done so as well. I guess I sort of did subconsciously as I wore an NFL coat when I was doing things on Thursday.
In my opinion, it was a great idea to do this. I was I was able to go all-in and do it properly!
As I wrote after hearing of Cadle's passing - he was great and I'm going to miss his presence on the British scene.
