In all of the years that I've wagered on the festival - and this is going back to my teens - I have never failed to pick at least one winner. I broke that streak in 2017.
Yesterday's losses totalled £20.62. Added together with the other three days and my 'picks' left me £200.59 out of pocket.
I did have an unpublished bet in the 4:50, but that doesn't count as I didn't record it in yesterday morning's post. Maybe I'll tell that story another time.
I'm sure I'll give it another go next year. The staking plan might need an adjustment, though. Might??
