Yes, I've written about the Rocky movies many, many times over the years and I could not turn down another opportunity to write about it.
The first movie in the series was released on this day in 1976. I was minus three at the time!
I first got into the films when I was very young. I more or less caught on somewhere between Rocky III. I can recall this because I remember wanting to go to see Rocky IV in the cinema, but - with a younger sister - I had to settle for movies that were suitable for both of us. I had to wait until it was available to rent.
Another thing I remember - as I sit here - was having was a 240 minute video cassette where I managed to record all four of the films onto. I had a cut-out picture of Rocky sellotaped to the side of the box.
Plenty of fun memories are stored away because of these movies.
