Another Laughable Excuse From Mourinho

I'm writing this post shortly before Manchester United play Northampton Town in the third round of the League Cup. As I noted earlier this week, the team are on a bad run of form, and - if all goes well - the team would have won the game by the time this post sees the light of day.

What has prompted me to write about the Red Devils today is something that is being reported concerning Jose Mourinho.

Apparently, he's now blaming Louis Van Gaal for the way United are playing at the moment.

Yes - he had the audacity to blame his, and the team's, current predicament on the club's former manager.

WHAT THE...?

According to Mourinho - his players are suffering from a 'mental hangover' after spending two years under the Dutchman.

Okay, if that's the case... let's all congratulate Van Gaal for winning the Community Shield in August and for the first three wins of the 2016/17 Premier League season. Surely this period would have been part of the hangover.

It's only fair, right?
