Last Weekend Was A Waste Of Time

You know what really pissed me off this week?

I stayed up until 7am on Sunday morning because I watched UFC 200. I went against my regular routine of recording UFC shows and watching them as soon as I wake up the following day. I really wanted to watch UFC 200 live so tried to catch some Z's before the main card started at 3am. This effort failed -  I could only manage a half hour nap before the timer sounded to tell me it was time to get the TV on.

I bought a pizza from Domino's at 3:15am. That cost me a few pounds both in the pocket and on the waist.

Watched Brock Lesnar defeat Mark Hunt in the fight that I was interested in the most.

Then, on Sunday, I got to sleep at 7am and woke up a few hours later. Spent the entire day drained and looking forward to Sunday night's sleep. I then spent the start of the week trying to get my body clock back to its regular schedule.

All a hassle.

Then, on Friday night everything that I went through ended up being for nothing.

Brock Lesnar has potentially failed one of the drug tests he took while preparing for the fight. If he is found to have used a banned substance, the result will go to Mark Hunt.

I know there are bigger things going on in the world right now, but I hate having my time wasted and I feel I have thrown away a lot of time on that UFC show.

From now on, I'm going to stick to the trick of recording the shows and then catching them on Sunday morning. It means having to avoid the Internet for a few hours, but it's a heck of a lot better than feeling the regret days later.
