When I write 'topical' I mean something that isn't too heavy or political. So, the best you're going to get from me is the fact that Findus Crispy Pancakes are about to leave us.
Sort of.
The company that owns the Findus brand - Young's Seafood - is doing away with all products bearing the Findus name, a brand that has been around since the late 1950's. The reason behind the move has something to do with it being tarnished following the horse meat scandal from a few years ago.
Fans of the crispy pancake need not worry, though. They're going to be relaunched under a brand called 'the Original Pancake co.'
Yeah, okay.
I haven't eaten a crispy pancake for years. The only flavour I liked was cheese and ham.
