AFC: The Division Round And Beyond

I think Denver have a very good shot at making it to the Super Bowl.

They play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs this weekend. The fact they have home field advantage and - most importantly - a week of rest should help.

The other AFC game sees Kansas City - who routed Houston on Saturday night - head to New England.

I don't know which team I'd prefer to win out of that one.

If we're to say Denver is successful against the Steelers, a New England victory will set up a potential final meeting between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

And then, if the Chiefs meet Denver, we have Manning playing against a division rival in a rematch from earlier this season. Manning was benched in that game. I think he'll end up trying to right that wrong, if you ask me.

All I want is for Denver to make it through this weekend.  Not asking for much, am I?
