Channel 4 will not air any NFL content this season.
The station has apparently ended its few years agreements with the NFL. It's a shame because I have always liked the Channel 4 and NFL partnership.
I guess it's mainly because it was Channel 4 that first introduced me to the sport back in the day.
The renaissance between the two sides started a few years ago when the BBC gave up its Free To Air rights to broadcast NFL games over here.
The NFL's new FTA partner? None other than its old one, if reports are true.
Yes, the Beeb will once again pick up the sport. Let's hope the games aren't hidden behind the red button like they were the last time.
Any football on free TV is good for the game in this country, I suppose.
