Testing My American Football System On CFL Football: Week 2 2015

Well, I made it to week 2.

In last week's post dedicated to CFL Football betting systems, I gave out eight selections that the FootballPointspread.tips System gave out.

Five of these selections would have been winning picks had I placed a bet on them. As noted, I doubt I will be betting on these results as I am using the system as a trial in preparation for the NFL and College football in September.

Here are the results from week one:

Ottawa @ Montreal Under 48 (WIN)
Montreal -7.5 (LOSS)

Hamilton @ Calgary Over 52.5 (LOSS)
Hamilton +6.5 (WIN)

Edmonton @ Toronto Under 49 (WIN)
Toronto +7.5 (WIN)

Winipeg @ Saskatchewan Under 48 (LOSS)
Winnipeg +7.5 (WIN)

Overall record: 5-3

Week 2's Selections

As of right now, the current plan is to test this out for a number of weeks. I do not intend to run this throughout the entire CFL season. This plan could change, though!

There are only three matches on the board, so this week's selections will only concern this trio. The Montreal game is OTB due to the team's TWO quarterbacks being injured last week.

Hamilton @ Winnipeg

The system has Hamilton winning by 2 and the game to have 53 points.

Recommended Plays:
Hamilton -1.5
Over 51

Toronto @ Saskatchewan

We have Toronto winning by 5 points even though they're underdogs. The forecast has 51 total points, which is close to the actual line of 50.5.

Recommended Plays:
Toronto +2.5
Over 50.5

BC Lions @ Ottawa

It has the Lions winning by a point (so a straight up win, but not an ATS cover) and the total amount of points at 43.

Recommended Plays:
Ottawa +3.5
Under 45.5

I'll return to this topic some time next week. Don't forget, this is just a trial. I do not recommend betting on Canadian Football as the system is geared mainly for the US rules of the game.
