Initial Thoughts On WrestleMania 31

It has just gone 4am as I type this and WrestleMania is over for another year.

I BLOODY LOVED THE MAIN EVENT!

It was brilliant.

If you haven't seen it, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns had one of those back-and-forths where they were beating on each other only for Seth Rollins to come down with minutes to spare - and when both guys were groggy - to cash in his immediate title shot.

The match was immediately turned into a triple threat. Rollins ended up pinning Reigns, so Lesnar lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship without taking a fall.

To be fair, I wasn't that thrilled with the rest of the card.

Don't get me wrong, it was very good. I went in looking forward to two things - Sting and to see how the main event finished.

I wasn't blown away by the Sting match. Might need to take a second look, but my first impressions think it fell short.

As for the main event finish - I predicted a Seth Rollins cash-in, but didn't expect it to be the way they did it.

And now it's time to sleep. It has been a long day!
