Roman Reigned The Slammy Awards (Or Did He?)

As I mentioned earlier this week, WWE hosted its Slammy Awards on Monday night. 

One of the most controversial things - based on fan reaction - is the result in the 'Superstar of the Year' category.

The winner was Roman Reigns. In my opinion, the result does seem illegitimate considering the other names on the list. 

The thing is - in 2015, Roman Reigns is going to be pushed and pushed hard so I can understand why there was shenanigans going on with the voting on Monday.

Any little thing to make the guy look cosmetically over and all that.

I'm not that concerned, though. At least people didn't pay to vote. Remember back in the 1990s when they had a premium rate phone number for fans to vote to try and get 'Macho Man' Randy Savage reinstated?

It's a carny world. Sometimes you just have to accept carny results.
