I had spent all of the autumn anticipating the launch of the WWE Network in the UK.
We - and when I state 'we' I mean the UK and Ireland - had been promised World Wrestling Entertainment's over-the-top Internet service would make its way to these shores on October 1st.
When that failed, we were informed that an announcement would be made 'by November 1st'.
We made it to October 30th and were told the thing would be here 8pm GMT on November 3rd.
I spent the entire weekend looking forward to it. Then, at 7:30pm, I made my way to the PC and prepared to set things up. I happened to see on Twitter that the WWE Network's official Twitter account had noted that the launch would be delayed.
'Until Further Notice'.
I'm guessing this has something to do with Sky. It has to be. Go back and read this blog dating back to the moment the Network debuted in the USA and you'll see that I had fears we would get a totally different product to them.
I don't think we'll see the Network over here.
And if we do, I'm at the point where I might just take an 'I'll get it when I need it' approach rather than go all-in as I had planned.
