WWE Announces Network Launch In The UK

When I typed up yesterday's post, we were still in the dark about the WWE Network launch in the United Kingdom.

We were told it would be out in November.

And that was all, to be honest.

Well - last night, emails were sent out to WWE fans in this country. The mailers confirmed that the launch day has now been set.

Monday November 3rd at 8pm GMT.

More importantly, we will be getting Survivor Series. Free.

I'm still dazed by this news. I was expecting Sky to have had some part of this. I expected blackouts, but this does not seem to be the case.

It's one of those moments where I'm glad I was wrong.

If you recall, I purchased a subscription to the Network earlier this year. I gave it up after my six month commitment was complete because I wanted to see what happened with the UK roll out that was originally scheduled for October 1st.

I had been using a geo-cloaking service to hide where I actually lived. As it involved a lot of fiddling about, I decided to use my Playstation to watch shows. I experienced quite a lot of technical issues and it was one of the factoring reasons why I decided to not renew.

Now that I can be truthful about where I live - I'm hope I can get better coverage on my iPad, Apple TV, Xbox or laptop.
