One of the things that really bugs me about owning a domain name is the spam emails that are constantly sent to me trying to flog a similar sounding URL my way.
The emailers tell me 'X domain name is about to come due' and whether I would like to purchase it. They then inform me not to do anything if I am uninterested.
Weeks later, I get another email from them. This time they want me to click a link which will indicate to them that I don't want to accept their offer.
Do they think I am stupid?
Clicking the link will let them know I am alive and well.
And what's more, it will open me up to more spam.
Keep sending. I'll keep deleting.
