Man City & Roma's Twitter Banter

I had a good laugh yesterday when I read about what the official Manchester City Twitter account had written on Tuesday night.

The person behind the keys had written:

We're looking forward to hosting you (Roma's Twitter account), and a legendary player such as Totti. He's never scored in England has he?

Fate answered later that evening when Francesco Totti scored the equalising goal that left the game tied 1-1.

The comedy continued yesterday when Roma sent Manchester City the following:

Looking forward to seeing you in Rome. You've never won a European game in Italy, have you?

I look forward to seeing how they respond. 

Put it this way, they might need to win now that they have an away goal to deal with.
