Sky and the National Football League have reached a new television deal which goes into place from next season.
Sky Sports will once again air Monday Night Football. It has been quite a few years since the station had the Monday game. I believe the last time Sky had it was 2008 (maybe even 2007!).
The rest is as we were.
We get to watch Thursday games as well as the regular double header on a Sunday.
Oh, and the main part of all this - it's a five year deal!
In my opinion it's awesome news.
These deals are usually thrashed out at the eleventh hour whenever they are up, so it's cool to know everything is in place with less than a year to go before the deal begins.
