Thoughts On The NASCAR Tragedy

I don't understand the bubble that NASCAR evidently found itself in over the weekend when one of its drivers was killed on Saturday night after being hit by a fellow driver.

As I refuse to watch any of the footage and don't follow the sport at all, I'm not in any position to judge what happened.

What I can offer my opinion on is the comment made by the team of the Tony Stewart, who was in the car at the time of the accident. They noted the driver would race a day later because it's 'business as usual'.

Business as usual!?

It's worth noting that Stewart did end up pulling out of the race. 

However, I get the feeling the decision was made by outside forces, though.
