When season two of Arrow was announced, I had heard that The Flash would be in it.
After a number of episodes, and with no sign of DC Comics' fast superhero, I decided to discount the Flash rumour to be just that.
A rumour.
Flash backwards to last Monday and we were introduced to a new character named Barry Allen.
I knew who he was as soon as he introduced himself.
Barry Allen is the alias of The Flash in the comics. In Arrow, he is just a regular guy.
For the time being, at least.
Apparently, Allen will be used to spin-off from Arrow in order to make a The Flash television series.
