The Super Bowl will be returning to Channel 4 for the first time since 1998.
A deal between the NFL and Channel 4 was revealed on Friday, not long after it was leaked that NFL Hard Knocks was to begin a five week run on Sunday mornings from September 8th.
As part of this agreement, which sees Channel 4 getting exclusive terrestrial rights, the station will continue to air the NBC Sunday Night Football games live at 1:30am each Monday morning.
There will also be a highlights show that will be on Saturday mornings at 9am with a repeat the following day.
And that's not all.
Both of this season's International Series games from Wembley Stadium will air live on Channel 4.
This two-year deal is great news for British NFL fans who had been worried about a terrestrial deal not being worked out in time.
A press release detailing which station will air Monday Night Football is expected next week.
