Good Call, Good Call

A few days ago, I republished a post that I had written at taylorknosbets.com where I predicted the outcome of the CM Punk versus Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman at WWE Night of Champions 2013.

Now that the event is over, and I was proven correct, I think I deserve to pat myself on the back.

Axel & Heyman were 5/1 to win their match at SkyBet.com when I suggested betting on the duo.

I had a feeling that there would be shenanigans during the bout as CM Punk vowed he would beat up Heyman. When he said that, alarm bells sounded.

He promised he would beat on his former manager, he didn't guarantee a win.

As I guessed, a new Paul Heyman protégé - Ryback - interfered after the manager had taken a beating and, as a result of this interference, Heyman ended up scraping an assisted pinfall victory.

I didn't bet on the match myself but my friend and his wife followed my suggestion so I'm glad they got something out of my gut feeling.
