I caught the Villareal .vs. Real Madrid match over the weekend because I wanted to see how Gareth Bale would do in his debut.
The game was quite poor (if you're a Madrid fan) but it was good to see Bale get on the scoreboard, even if it was a tap in.
A goal is a goal.
Look at it like this, some players take a while to settle into a new club. Bale has one goal to his name so he has that working for him as he acclimatises to life at the Bernabéu.
Turkey is the next port of call as Real Madrid take on Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
