KO'd

Anderson Silva was humbled on Saturday night.

I don't follow UFC much anymore. However, I do read the news and read that Silva was defending his UFC middleweight belt against Chris Weidman.

Throughout the fight, Silva was disrespecting Weidman by allowing his opponent to throw punches towards him. He was mocking his power.

In the second round, still showboating, Silva had his arms down and was letting Weidman throw punches again. Weidman connected a good blow and knocked out the champ.

What makes this all the more laughable is the fact Weidman was undefeated going in to that fight. Bum fights aside, he should have been respected more.

A costly lesson learned.
