I found out earlier this week that Colin Murray will be joining Talk Sport radio from August.
He'll be taking over the 10am - 1pm weekday slot that had been occupied by Richard Keys and Andy Gray.
I found Keys & Gray boring because, whenever I would listen to them, they only seemed to have their own guests in studio or on the phone.
Don't get me wrong - they did have decent guests on the occasions I listened. I prefer talk radio the way it's supposed to be - with a debate where callers can have their voices heard. This listener never got that with Keys and Gray so I hardly ever took the time to tune in as religiously as I have done with other shows on the station.
Hopefully, Talk Sport will allow Colin Murray to open up phone lines and allow normal calls in.
Either way, I look forward to his arrival.
