I had been following the story involving New England Patriots' tight end - Aaron Hernandez - and the murder of Odin Lloyd for over a week.
The story heated up yesterday when Hernandez was arrested and then fired by the Patriots in the space of ninety minutes.
I watched everything going down on the NFL Network and even got to see his court appearance live. He was charged with first degree murder and refused bail.
Without disrespecting the deceased, it's quite a waste.
Hernandez was paid well, a home, girlfriend and an eight-month old child and his alleged actions have compromised everything.
