I was given a complimentary £5 bet the other day so decided to use it on the weekend football and boxing.
I did a double on Arsenal to beat Queens Park Rangers and needed over two-and-a-half goals in the game between Norwich and Aston Villa.
Arsenal won 1-0 and the other game was settled as a winner with the scoreline being 2-1 to Villa.
So, with a little over ten pounds in profit, I decided to put it all on Floyd Mayweather in his fight against Robert Guerrero.
Mayweather was a strong 1/8 favourite. He was victorious so I walked away with one pound and change more on top of what I had won earlier.
Not bad, eh?
