Going Solo Again?

Rumours of Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars film have been the topic of discussion on the Internet and television for the past few days.

A lot of the opinion seems to be negative towards the idea, though.

The majority of this negativity is from people who seem to think that Han Solo is going to be one of the main characters in the new Star Wars film. If he is - then I will gladly jump on the negative Nancy bandwagon and hate the prospect.

With that said, I cannot see Han Solo being anything other than a minor character in the new series of films.

I think the story will be about the next generation of Jedi knights.

If the producers and writers of the new trilogy stick on the same path with what has become Star Wars canon since Return of the Jedi in 1983, the main characters should feature Jedi twins that Han Solo and Princess Leia created.

In my opinion, having Han Solo back will be a nice way to sew the trilogies together.

It'll also be cool to see Harrison Ford reprise a role that he hasn't played in a very long. Then again - I said the same thing about Indiana Jones and look what happened there.
