Robbed

I had £46 left in my iTunes account after adding two gift cards a few months ago and buying a few apps and songs.

'Had' being the operative word.

I received two emails from iTunes yesterday. Both were receipts informing me of my latest purchases. One was for £11.99 and the other for £29.99. Problem is - I didn't buy anything!

I logged into the account and noticed that I only had 7p remaining.

The only thing I can assume is I've been hacked and someone has stolen the money from me.

I've phoned Apple and the man on the phone instructed me to go onto the website and email the store. Yeah, it's the 21st Century and phone calls cannot help you - it's email or nothing nowadays.

I'm glad I hadn't left my bank card on the system but I'm still annoyed that I lost money through no fault of my own.

I suggest you check your iTunes account for suspicious purchases.

Non-update update - I can count. I know the purchases written here do not add up to £46, it's just that the hacker, or whoever it is with my details, had made other small purchases with the money I had stored on my account.
