Edge Retires

Adam Copeland - better known to wrestling fans as 'Edge' - announced his retirement from wrestling during this past Monday's episode of WWE Raw.

He had an MRI last week after noticing numbness in both his arms and hands and the results proved that he had spinal stenosis which causes his spinal cord to narrow.

Copeland had major neck surgery in the early 2000s so the schedule he kept after returning from that surgery has cut his career short.

At thirty-seven, it's a shame for him to go out at such a young age. At least he has the sense to realise that his time is up and doesn't want to risk paralysis by continuing doing what he evidently loved doing.

He'll be vacating the world heavyweight championship on this Friday's edition of SmackDown.
