33 Days To Go

It is now thirty-three days until WrestleMania XXVII and my interested in it is slowly picking up steam.

Last night's episode of Raw did a relatively decent job of hyping up the event.

Triple H did a good promo in building up his match against The Undertaker by referring to the fact that both of them are the most tenured wrestlers on the WWE roster. He did, however, make a stupid statement when he noted how no one else in the locker room could match them.

Nice way to build the future, eh?

The interviewed Shawn Michaels about the bout and he claimed he was hoping Hunter ends The Undertaker's winning streak but a seed was planted when he commented that he wouldn't know how he would react if Hunter does do what he couldn't for the past two Manias.

The Rock's promo via satellite was awesome. The problem is, WWE have backed themselves into a corner and they need to limit the amount of times he appears on TV in the week's leading to WrestleMania.

The Rock is one of the carrots being dangled in front of the fans and they could have their fill of him by the time Mania rolls around.

Don't get me wrong - it's good entertainment seeing him on TV. I just feel that him appearing all the time will take away something that is unique about this year's event.
