Weeks ago - when the Richard Keys and Andy Gray controversy was at its peak - I predicted with a few friends and members of my family that the two would end up with a show on Talk Sport (talkSport).
Well, within two weeks, my guess was correct.
It was announced yesterday that they will start a daily 10am - 1pm show from this coming Monday.
I dislike this recruitment as it means the Mike Parry and Mike Graham show is now over. Parry has also parted company with the station which is the worst part in this deal.
Mike Parry has kept me amused for years.
He was one of the funniest presenters I have ever heard on radio. Sometimes, his views were so out there you could only think he was saying it to stir up the listeners. He was a professional shit stirrer.
And a great one at that.
I'm sure he will reappear somewhere. His Twitter tweets yesterday more or less guaranteed he will be back sooner rather than later.
Here's hoping I can listen to it wherever it shall be.
