I spent the best part of yesterday watching the late breaking transfer news on transfer deadline day.
The news of the day was obviously the situation with Fernando Torres going to Chelsea and the sale of Andy Carroll to Liverpool from Newcastle.
I may irate a lot of Chelsea and Liverpool fans but neither of those players are worth the money they were valued at.
Liverpool splashing out thirty-five million pounds on Carroll is ludicrous. Especially when you consider the experience he has had in the top flight.
Torres, at fifty million, may seem okay on paper as he is a World Cup winner.
The only thing is, he was useless in that tournament.
I'm not going to sit here and bash them, though. If that is what people think they are worth then so be it.
