I didn't know it was going to be this easy.
New England were knocked out of contention to win this year's Super Bowl last night when the New York Jets beat them 28-21.
As you've probably read in previous posts, I had made a bet on all the remaining teams going into this week to be Super Bowl champions.
Other than New England.
I was imagining the Patriots going all the way to February 6th and had started hyping it up with an 'Anyone But New England' campaign on this very blog.
I had it all planned out. There was going to be a lot more to accompany the mock-up t-shirt that I had drawn earlier last week.
But, I guess I should be thankful they are knocked out and won't be a thorn in my side for the remainder of the post-season.
It would have been fun, though.
I am now guaranteed a win on Super Bowl Sunday.
