The Sky Sports sexism row shows just how behind the times certain minds of people within football are.
I heard the comments made by Andy Gray and Richard Keys and - to me - they come across as two men stuck in the past.
It's 2011.
We have females serving for their countries in wars when we have these two idiots debating with each other whether a female linesperson (you see what I did there?) is right for the sport.
Back in 1998, I remember the very same duo laughing hysterically after covering highlights of the Women's FA Cup final at the end of a game on Monday Night Football. YouTube it, it is still around.
I'm very surprised they didn't get a slap on the wrist back then.
Or, maybe they had but didn't learn anything. Either way - their views reflect a chauvinism that is just on par with racism.
Both are black eyes to football.
And so are Gray and Keys.
