Anyone But New England

I have been feeling extremely superstitious and anxious about writing this post for reasons that will become evident if you read on.

In the summer of 2010, I placed small bets on three different teams to win this year's Super Bowl.

Now, I'm not completely confident on these teams even though two of the three have made it to the play-offs. Bearing this concern in mind, I had a look at scenarios where I could at least walk away in profit should any of the other teams that are left in the running walk away as winners.

I now have bets on every other potential winner apart for the favourites - the New England Patriots.

Should the Pats win, I'll be down by a little over ten pounds. If any of the others succeed, I will make at least £4.40 profit.

Here heralds the launch of my 'Anyone But New England' campaign.

To honour the hope that the Patriots fail to win the Super Bowl, I have made my very own mock-up of the Anyone But England t-shirt that was popular everywhere (but England) in the build-up to the 2010 World Cup.

I have probably ensured New England will win now.
