It always makes me laugh when I hear a professional wrestler say the often used line about writers and how they shouldn't write about the 'sport' if they haven't been in the ring.
It's Pro Wrestler Defence 101.
Only, it is the most asinine thought anyone can have.
Just the other day, a certain professional was doing his own Internet video show (which is ironic in itself) and dismissed the work of a highly regarded pro wrestling journalist because he felt the writer only covered the sport because he couldn't be a wrestler.
Using the same logic, I have one question to ask that will hit my point home:
Do people who report on murders do so because they want to be murderers?
