More Snow For Minnesota

Hours after making yesterday's post, the match-up between Minnesota and the New York Giants took an even interesting turn.

The Metrodome - the stadium of the home team - cracked under the pressure of the snow and the roof gave way causing snow and ice to descend from the numerous gaps in the dome.

Video footage of the snow breaking through the ceiling was shown on TV last night and it looked scary yet awesome at the same time.

It's lucky nobody was there when it happened.

As the stadium is obviously out-of-bounds, the game was moved to Detroit.

In yesterday's post, I noted how I had the Giants in my weekend bet. This selection has now been voided as the betting rules state that a change in venue would cancel out bets placed before the announcement of a switch.

I'm sort of glad the bet was cancelled because both teams preparations have been disrupted now.

Oh, and the news coming out now is that Brett Favre may not play.

His record of 297 league starts could be over. My reaction to this? I'll believe it when I see it.
