Champions' League Semi-Finals : Part I

The first legs of the Champions' League semi-finals take place tonight and tomorrow and I can't see many goals being scored in both of them.

Liverpool are at home to Chelsea in the first game of the week. The Reds have met The Blues a number of times in Europe and Liverpool have been the victors on the most recent occasions.

I can see a change in the script.

I believe Liverpool will win tonight's game 1-0. The second leg - with Chelsea at home - will see Liverpool lose the two ties on an aggregate of 2-1.

In the other match of this week, Barcelona will face Manchester United in Spain. I think this game will be a draw.

An away goal for Manchester United tonight will work in their favour as they prepare for the second leg at Old Trafford next week. I can see Man U winning at home but it will be difficult for them to take anything more than a draw at the Nou Camp.

Here are my predicted scores:

Liverpool 1 Chelsea 0
Barcelona 1 Man Utd 1

We'll see how close I was next week.
