William Hill are now offering satellite qualifiers to their second annual Grand Prix of Poker.
I have played in three or four of the first level satellites but have yet to make it to the nightly finals that will lead to the Sunday grand final.
The grand final winners each Sunday will win entry to the televised heats that take place in October.
The heats are taking place in Cardiff which means it's the ultimate opportunity for me. Last year's event also took place here in the Welsh capital and some of the world's greatest players were invited to take part.
Wouldn't it be great to see the likes of Phil 'Unabomber' Laak and Ram Vaswani, last year's first and second place, being beaten by the hometown boy?
It could happen.
I just have to qualify first!
