Tempting Fate

On Tuesday night I qualified for the Grosvenor final that took place tonight. The winner got entry to the Walsall event on June 10th.

I decided it would be best if I didn't announce the fact that I had once again qualified for a final to a Grosvenor tournament in the hope that I didn't over-hype it like I did a fortnight ago.

Tempting fate didn't work for me. I ended up losing just before the first break when my pair of nines got called and raised by a pair of queens.

It has been a bad few days for me in my personal life so I thought that it was a sign that there would be something good in store tonight. I was obviously wrong!

I am not going to give up, I will be back attempting to get to a live final once again.
