I Would Like To Thank The Academy

I would like to thank the Academy.

West Ham United are hardly the 'Academy of Football' that their history deems them. Not in this day and age where the billions of Chelsea and the recent succceses of Liverpool are the talk of the game.

I would still like to thank them, anyway.

I had a feeling that tonight they were going to end a bad run of home defeats against Fulham so decided to throw them in a double along with Senegal who were odds on favourites to beat Zimbabwe in the African Nations Cup.

The Senegal team won 2-0 leaving the Hammers as the only remaining team on the bet. A 2-1 win secured the £29 profit.

And once again, thanks to the Academy.
